CIVITTA is helping to apply for Connecting Europe Facility Transport grants

Last week, CINEA — the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency published the results under the first cut-off date of The Connecting Europe Facility Transport call for proposals on Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Facility (AFIF). The EU will support projects aiming to boost green mobility and to adapt the TEN-T network for dual civil / defence use.

We are proud to announce that one of CIVITTA's clients was among the 15 selected beneficiaries, supported by Przemysław Loranc and Anna Kębrowska from CIVITTA Poland, together with Mirja-Liisa Kauppila from our Finnish branch. 

The development of e-mobility requires large investments, which will primarily contribute to building a wide network of electric car charging points and hydrogen fueling stations. For entrepreneurs who have investment plans related to this area, we have good news — the call for proposals for the transport sector under the CEF program, which is a key EU funding instrument for important projects of common interest in transport and logistics, is still open.

The call for proposals under the CEF AFIF lasts until 19 of September 2023, and the second cut-off date is on 7 of June 2022. When planning to build a fast charging station for electric vehicles or a hydrogen fueling station, it is worth considering applying under the second cut-off date. Why? In the next round of call for proposals, the AFIF eligibility map is going to be changed and the pool of available locations for funding may be narrowed. This means that after 7 of June 2022, the considered locations for investment may turn out to be occupied and assigned to other beneficiaries, so it will not be possible to implement investment plans there.
